Deltoid Strengthener - Stand in neutral alignment, feet hip width apart, shoulders relaxes and spine neutral. Lift the kettlebell to shoulder height and press it over head. Hold for a moment and lower again. Repeat this 15 times on each side. Remember to exhale during the exertion phase of the exercise. Try to control each movement since jerky movements will diminish the muscle tension produced.
Suggested Weight for Different Populations:
5-10 lb. - Novice female without resistance training experience 12 lb. - Female with some resistance training experience 15-18 lb. - Female with extensive resistance training experience 20-25 lb. - Strong, athletic female or male with below average strength base 35 lb. - Male with average strength 55+ lb. - Male with above average strength
