The BOSU is an excellent stability tool to help work stabilizer muscles. The Squat with an Overhead Press on a Bosu Ball is a great way to challenge many of those stabilizers.  Add a pair of dumbbells and you are in for a serious challenge. This exercise will increase heart rate and muscular strength.
 
Performing a squat to an overhead dumbbell press will strengthen your legs, core and shoulders. That's an overall body conditioning exercise which will also get your heart rate up for a total fitness experience - cardiovascular and muscular strengthening equals efficient training. This is a great exercise for a circuit training workout.
