A woman hitting a punching bagBeginner or athlete, young or old, you can take a kickboxing class and experience the real body changing benefits that only this type of all body workout can provide. I have been a kickbox instructor for over 12 years and I can tell you nothing else I teach works the body the same. Punches, kicks, bob and weaves, core rotations and the amazing combinations of movements not only get your heart rate up  but work muscles you did not know you had. Kickboxing will get you into the best shape of your life.

Here are a few great reason to try a kickboxing class:

1. Lower Your Stress – Kickboxing gets you into a mind set that is fun and stress busting. Kick, punch and even yell your cares away. Kickboxing challenges the core muscles of the body for an all over workout.  By working out regularly, your body releases endorphins that actually help to regulate your mood and reduce the amount of stress that you experience in your daily life. Exercise is not just about the physical “visible” body changes, it is also about changing your life and increasing your wellness so that you feel and look great. Kickboxing will get you into the bets shape of your life.

2. Increase Your Confidence
– As you are punching and kicking you are releasing endorphins which give you a rush of positive feelings, one of which is to help you feel good and confident. An additional benefit of the endorphins is the after effect – you will feel happier for hours after your session has ended. Kickboxing will get you into the best shape of your life!

3. Better Coordination and Posture - The emphasis on core muscle activation will help you to improve your posture as well as your coordination. Strengthening the core includes shoulders, hips, gluteals, and abdominal muscles. The combination of kicks and punches gives you the opportunity to work on hand/ eye coordination and motor skills.

4. Serious Calorie Burn
– As a kickboxing instructor I can tell you the calorie burn is higher than any other workout I know. I burn an average of 700 calories per hour in a kickboxing class, that's a serious burn. Not only does that kind of burn mean possible weight loss, it also means your metabolism will be increased for hours throughout your day.

Kickboxing will get you into the best shape of your life!
