Here are a few beginner resistance band exercises. The use of the bands is helpful for both rehabilitation as well as strength training exercises. There are advanced band exercises as well as beginner resistance band exercises (shown here). 

 
There are many benefits to working with a resistance band. Beginner or advanced, bands are lightweight, easy to travel with and can be used in any sized space for on the go workouts.
