What's Special About The Grid Foam Roller?
- This foam roller is made with less foam than the standard foam rollers which makes it more comfortable yet even more effective
- The Grid is designed specifically to take on the heavy use and wear that frequent rolling can do to your foam roller, especially in a commercial (gym) setting
Foam Rolling With The Grid Is An Excellent Way To Loosen And Relax Muscles On Your Own

- The sleek design of this roller makes it easy to pack away in your suitcase for use in a hotel or to take along to your gym
- For use as a balance aid, strength tool, or flexibility enhancer
- Great for core (hips, back, abdominal and shoulder) workouts
- Perfect for targeting specific muscles that are in need of extra attention and massage
The Grid Foam Roller is brought to you by Trigger Point Performance and is actually very different from the standard foam roller you may see at your local gym. The Grid has something called Distrodensity which is unique to the Grid. Distrodensity is a system of production which brings together different widths and lengths of material to create a different experience during a rolling session. The Grid's Distrodensity can be compared to the difference between a therapist using the arm or the hand to create varying intensities of massage. Incredibly, the Grid can hande up to 500 pounds of weight!
- Dimensions: 13" long and 5" in diameter
- Made with less foam than traditional foam rollers
- Weight: 1.5 pounds
- Before using a foam roller, check with your doctor to be sure it is right for you
- You should use a foam roller once your body is warm, not cold
- Place the roller in the area of your body that feels tight or sore
- Roll slowly and gently back and forth until you feel the tender spot
- Once you find a tightness or tenderness, stop and allow the muscle to relax
- Also great for increasing range of motion
- Avoid rolling on bones, joints or other non flexible areas
- Take a day between rolling sessions
- Be sure to hydrate after foam rolling
When you compare a foam roller workout to other training workout there are many differences. Foam rollers are low impact which means there is very little stress to the joints. Weight training can damage joints and even muscles but the risk is much lower when working on the Grid Foam Roller.
