Strong Rear Deltoids and Pectoral Muscles Are The Foundation Of A Balanced Upper Body
- This unit focuses on the pectorals and rear deltoids but in addition to the primary movers are the secondary muscles - shoulders, biceps and triceps
- Please choose a frame and upholstery option from the colors listed - if yours is not listed, please call us for assistance
- When most people train their shoulders they usually include plenty of exercises for the front deltoids, side deltoids, and the trapezius muscles. But the rear deltoids are most often neglected.
- Frame Finish: Powder-coated baked on finish that is scuff resistant and long wearing
When you think about lifting weights some of you will think of the free weight room and others will visualize equipment like the Power Systems line of weight lifting machines. Regardless of your preference, each has a place in your routine. When you are performing free weight exercises you are also using stabilizer muscles and synergists to control the movements from going to the sides or dropping too quickly. On equipment with a controlled range of motion, you give up the stabilizer usage but can go harder to increase strength with less fear of injury.
This machine will target chest and rear delts. Chest fly workouts are among the most popular because of the excellent definition you will achieve. The pectorals are the primary muscles that are used when performing a chest fly. When you execute a chest fly your biceps and shoulders will assist but you want to pay special attention that you are focusing on the chest muscles with proper form.
By working on the rear delts you will assist in the pverall balance of the upper body, namely the shoulders. Strong rear deltoids will help you with many exercises such as bench presses and even squats because you are stronger to hold the bar and press it.
