What's Special About The Poly Battling Ropes®?
- Battling Ropes are an excellent way to increase your velocity and power while pushing your heart rate into anaerobic zones
- These ropes are basic in philosophy but not so simple to use - they are challenging
- An effective method to train the core, arms, back and legs - not to mention the heart, your most important muscle
Looking For The Best Rope For Velocity And Power Training? The Poly Battling Ropes Are Ideal For Indoors Or Out
- Battling Ropes are not abrasive and will not shed which makes them ideal for use whether or not you have gloves on
- The polyester material they are made from is easy to grab and hold for excellent workouts
- There is a plastic boot on each end of your rope so that fraying is not a concern
- This is a functional way to train your body because it requires movement of the entire torso in one fluid motion
- Challenge your aerobic and anaerobic energy systems
- 50’ 1.5” diameter ropes are best for beginner and the 2" diameter along with partner ropes are best for advanced fitness participants
- You can also purchase the Battling Rope DVD for information and ideas
- Allow 2-4 weeks for delivery
The beauty of the Battling Rope is that you need more than strength, you need speed as well. If you have strength but not speed, or speed but no strength you will not succeed in your initial training with the ropes. Training ropes are new to fitness but are making quite an impact. Most gyms I walk into these days have the ropes in the training rooms or even on the fitness floors. These ropes are great for sports specific training, general conditioning or anyone who wants to change their routine for serious muscle confusion.
- Non-shedding
- Non-abrasive
- Braided polyester material
- Tsunami ropes are created by John Brookfield
The Tsunami is a method or technique which you do with the Battling Ropes. You create a wave motion with your arms and maintain it for as long as you can. The goal is to sustain the flow of the wave for as long as possible without stopping or losing momentum.
Differentiate yourself from other facilities or trainers by incorporating the Battling Ropes into your gym or sessions. Your members (and you) will love the challenge and the unique way in which the ropes target your entire body. You can work your aerobic system (60 to 80% of heart rate max) and anaerobic system (over 80% heart rate intensity). Battling ropes will have people standing in line to have a turn!
