Interval timers
A virtual Trainer will help you during the interval training sessions via preset training phases. A warm-up phase uses a preset heart zone and a countdown timer with up to 30 intervals in which each has a recovery option and cool-down target heart rate zone with a countdown timer.
Polar Fitness Test™ with OwnIndex®
In just five minutes the fitness test will measure your aerobic fitness at rest.The Polar OwnIndex takes the result and predicts your maximal oxygen (VO2max) accurately, this can be done automatically or by yourself with no other equipment other than a heart rate monitor. The test requires your age, gender, height, weight, your level of physical activity, and your rest heart rate.
The OwnIndex is able to measure your VO2max and chart changes as you improve your fitness capacity. You can also compare your results to others across the world with the global references.
Calorie expenditure
The feature called OwnCal allows you to calculate and measure calories expended as well as the cumulative kilocalories expended during several training sessions. You can also measure fat burning percentage during your workouts.
