The ePulse will calculate your average heart rate over a period of time which is a great indicator of oveall fitness because generally the lower the heart rate, the fitter you are. By wearing the monitor you will be able to judge if your heart rate is decreasing and your fitness level increasing.
In additon to the average heart rate, the ePulse will display your minimum and maximum heart rate achieved during your workout.
Finally, based on the data you enter and the information the monitor collects via your workouts, the ePulse monitor will automatically calculate optimal heart rate exercise zones for you in order for you to achieve the maximum health benefits from your activities. The ePulse illuminates a green LED to alert you that you are in your selected target exercise zone:
