Simply described, a focus mitt is a pad attached to a glove which is used for training boxing and striking skills as well as getting a fantastic upper body workout. The person holding the mitts is in control of the workout and the one punching is the follower. In essence, the receiver moves the mitts to different heights and positions forcing the puncher to move in all directions and throw a variety of punches. You use your Curved Focus Mitts by placing them on your hands and securing them so that they do not fly off mid-training. The holder or feeder should throw the same punch that the puncher is to mimic for the best workout. In other words, if the feeder wants to set the puncher up for a hook, the feeder will also throw a hook. You can also use the mitts to cause the puncher to bob and weave. Periodically, go after the punchers head and make him or her drop. This increases the intensity of the workout.
