Exercises

  • Lie down on a bench or step so your elbows can hang lower than your back.  Hold the Body Bar a few inches above your chest with both hands set slightly wider than your shoulders and bring the bar slowly down to your chest and back.  Repeat 6 to 12 times for 2 to 4 sets
  • Stand up and hold the bar with both hands shoulder-width apart.  Your palms should be facing out.  Curl your arms up and bring the bar toward your chest, then relax to your standing position.  Repeat 6 to 12 times for 2 to 4 sets

The Body Bars are perfect for adding resistance to many types of exercises.  However, we recommend that you should use the bars according to your fitness level.  These are the guidelines you should follow: BEGINNER 3 lb to 6 lb bars, INTERMEDIATE 9 lb, to 12 lb bars, INTERMEDIATE to ADVANCED 15 lb & 18 lb bars, ADVANCED 24 lb, 30 lb, & 36 lb bars.
