What's Special About the BOSU Ball?
- Incorporates a mindful approach to exercise that goes beyond traditional training
- Allows for increased range of motion and expanding movement capabilities while reshaping the body and strengthening the mind
- You must be physically as well as mentally involved to execute the moves - keeping you present in the moment
Multifunctional Training Device Which Challenges Core, Upper and Lower Body
The BOSU ball is an excellent tool to challenge your balance which in turn causes all of your stabilizing muscles to engage and activate. The increased amount of muscles being used cause the body to burn more calories. In addition, the BOSU allows you to mix up your workout without having to learn all new exercises. Simply perform the exercises you already know and love on the BOSU ball to avoid the dreaded plateaus.
- Weight tested to 350 lbs
- 16 lbs shipping weight
- One dome side and one round side - both used for different exercises
BOSU Squat
Stand on the dome side with both feet and slowly lower your hips until they are parallel with the knees. Return to standing.
BOSU Crunch
Lay on the BOSU face up. Place your hands behind your head lightly. Lift and lower your upper body going past a straight line to increase the range of motion and workload
If you are a fitness center or gym you will want to get the Trainer Professional Model because it is built slightly stronger and comes with a commercial warranty. The home use version of the BOSU does not have the same warranty.

Rating:
My favorite fitness tool for just about all group exercise classes. Use this while teaching group weight training, in the place of a step for a great
cardio workout or as a bench to perform upper, lower and core exercises.
